When you show up as a teacher, you are the gift that the student was looking for. The one who would help her learn a skill, create an environment of curiosity, help her do things she didn’t think she could do.

When you show up as an artist, you are the gift that those who engage with your art need. You take them away from the monotony of their days and help them engage with magic.

When you show up as a partner, as a friend, as a son, as an employer, as you, you are the gift. You bring your presence, your warmth, your contribution t0 those who matter.

Don’t keep the gift with you. You can make things better.
