Why Resistance?
Many times when we are struggling with procrastination and self-doubt, we tend to ask ‘Why? Why does resistance even exist?’
It’s easy to question the rules of the game as that saves us from the challenge of even playing the game.
So, why does it exist. One, it doesn’t exist in dogs and cats and cows and donkeys. A dog doesn’t feel resistance in barking his voice off when he hears a knock on the door or in loving his owner to the ends of the world and beyond.
My MacBook doesn’t feel resistance, though sometimes it does act like it. But when I decide to write a blog, it doesn’t say “You know what. I don’t feel like it today.”
I think Resistance is the crucial part of the challenge of being human and having human capabilities. The capability to create art, music, technology and what not. The ability to inspire, motivate and encourage others.
With great power comes greater resistance.
