Who’s on your investor board?
They don’t necessarily need to invest, at least not in terms of money.
But they need to take you and your work seriously.
I think it’s very important for us as creatives to setup a board of investors (for the want of a better name).
And then we do what startups do for their investors. We keep them in the loop. We tell them our objective, measurable targets and then we tell them where we reached on those targets.
If we don’t do this, we enable Resistance. We enable it to delay, to sabotage and then to rationalise everything.
Just by making this one change, where you present your goals and achievements on a monthly basis to a serious group, you can fast-track your progress significantly (at least 3-4x).
