Walk with spirit and love.

Rosamund Stone Zander teaches 5 infinite games in her book, Pathways to Possibility. These games have the capability of helping us loosen the grip of the critical voice and help us find agency and connect with possibility.

One of the games is to "walk with spirit and love".

I would implore you to not just read it below but to actually get up and walk. Let spirit and love move you and feel yourself floating as you step into possibility.

Here's Rosamund Stone Zander explaining the game from her book, Pathways to Possibility:

Walk with spirit and love

We might ask before we begin, “What is meant by Spirit? What is meant by Love?” You may have to answer that for yourself, but when I think of Spirit, I think of it as a glowing aura around us that draws us to stand tall and radiate happiness. I think of it as the spark that instantly connects us. And I think of Spirit as limitless in sight and wisdom. Love, on the other hand, is much more visceral for me, a warm energy that centers in the heart, runs throughout the body, and suffuses my world.
You’ll notice that the game stipulates that you walk with Spirit and Love. It doesn’t say walk as, or walk informed by. That little preposition “with” gives the game a double meaning. One definition has it that you are to radiate Spirit and Love from your own being, and another pictures you accompanied by the figures of Spirit and Love personified. The three of you make a powerful, high-spirited team so you, buoyed up, are not doing it all on your own.
Notice also that the rules of this game require more of you or your team than that you stand and radiate; they ask you to change your location as you do so. The directions say walk, so move, be energetic in bringing Spirit and Love to the world. So now try it: stand up and walk with Spirit and Love, and if you need a boost of energy turn to Spirit on your right and nod or wink, and if you want to widen your heart turn to your left, smile, and let in the warmth of Love.

Were you able to overcome the reluctance to walk? How do you feel after doing it? [Reply and share. I'd love to know.]

Who would you want to try it? [You are welcome to share this game with them.]
