The skill of focusing on one goal, one project.
It's the easiest thing in the world to get distracted, to see the next shiny thing and move towards it, leaving in its wake, your project, your work, and your goal.
And it's even more difficult to focus on the important work when you are an entrepreneur.
Everything is fighting for your attention: the conference that you had signed up for, the new idea that is knocking on your door, the innumerable notifications, the experts on LinkedIn and Twitter trying to tell you how to do your business, the voice of insecurity and fear, the pending rent and bills, the list goes on.
What we need to do is to pick a path, pick a goal and then stick to it. We will learn when we are able to iterate more, when we are able to ship more, not when we leave the goal mid-way to pursue the next shiny one.
