The metrics that matter.
It’s easy to get distracted by numbers or maybe even drown in the complexity that they can create.
When we invest our focus in determining the key metrics, ensure that we can track them without much effort and represent them in a way that’s useful, then numbers become a tool that help our strategy.
In addition, we have to understand that there would be important metrics that we cannot track or measure. Giving them due importance when we are surrounded by numbers is difficult but important.
Peter Drucker said, “What can be measured can be managed.”
Also, Albert Einstein said, “Not all that can be counted counts. Not all that counts can be counted.”
