The joy of missing out.

The Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) can be really useful. It can make us sign up for courses that we might not have otherwise. It can make us go say ‘Hi!’ to that person that we want to talk to.

But there are so many companies that are hacking into our FOMOs that is really bad for us.

So, I think what matters is to be very selective about the things that cause you FOMO and also to experience the joy of missing out (JOMO) for the other things.

I do not have a Netflix subscription and missing out on great content there is one of the biggest JOMOs for me.
