Showing up consistently.

The biggest challenge in showing up consistently is the expectation of the outcome.

If we don’t show up, we are comfortable with the fact that there will be no positive outcome.

But if we showed up, then we feel bad if we do not get an outcome.

This obsession with the outcome stops us from showing up again.

The key to showing up consistently is to appreciate the privilege of being able to show up, of being able to sit down and write, of sending something out of your door.

When we show up consistently, the outcome will take care of itself.

“ How many pages have I produced? I don’t care. Are they any good? I don’t even think about it.

All that matters is I’ve put in my time and hit it with all I’ve got.

All that counts is that, for this day, for this session, I have overcome Resistance.”
