Shifting the focus from circumstances to action.
When we focus on our circumstances, we invite the ‘victim mindset’. We become helpless. We feel that we can do something only if ‘this happens’.
The best way to change your circumstances is to focus on the action that would lead to the change. In most cases, the actions would have nothing to do with the circumstances itself.
For instance, if you are facing financial troubles, the focus should be on identifying who you can serve and what you can do for them and to create trust and tension that enable them to hire you or buy from you what you are offering. When you shift your focus this way, you are way more likely to get out of your financial troubles.
But when you focus on the troubles themselves, then your mind will focus on cutting expenses or lucky breaks, none of which is going to help you much in changing your circumstances.
This applies to all situations, fitness, relationships, or whatever the case may be.
