Compounding frequency.

The most important factor in compounding is the frequency of compounding. Even with the highest of compounding rates, if the frequency is low, the return would be low. The frequency is what determines the absolute returns of a compounding phenomenon.

Skill acquisition is a compounding phenomenon. The skill we want to become better at, becomes better with iteration. The more frequently we iterate the faster we become better at it.

It is our choice which skill we want to compound and iterate. And which habits we want to iterate less. The more consciously we choose this, the easier our journey of growth will become.
