Some changes can have a ripple effect on future actions. Make the change once and it makes things better going forward.
These system-level changes are easier to put off for later. We can always adjust. Why change something that isn't broke?
But, if we start making these changes with intent, even if they make things 1% better, they lead to compounding and residual results.
Some examples of these one-time actions can be building an effective website or mailing list, setting up an ergonomic work desk, buying a more responsive computer, or subscribing to a more intuitive software that we will use every day.
