Petty distractions

When we leave our seat, when we open another tab, when we browse through our phone, we create space for petty distractions.

They seem harmless at first. We feel we are in control. We can always go back to the work. We can sit back down. We will go back to typing.

But with every single tap, we keep going away. So far that it is going to be an uphill battle to go back to the work.

The only way to win the battle with these petty distractions is not to create that space in the first place itself.
