One thing at a time.
There is almost nothing that can’t be resolved by giving it our undivided attention. Sometimes, we may end up realising that we can’t do anything about the thing in question, but even in that case, we can move forward.
Overwhelm occurs when we try to solve too many things at the same time. When our attention is divided, it becomes almost impossible to resolve any one thing in front of us.
What can help is to create a list of things to resolve, and then give each of them a timer of at least 20 minutes. This can help us make progress by giving each of the tasks our undivided attention without getting distracted.
