Merely, do the work.

Without drama. Without emotion. Merely.

The less the drama, the less the emotions involved, the better and more consistent the work is.

Resistance uses emotion and drama to distract us from what really matters, and that is to show up as our best self, our most generous self.

The drama may come because of criticism, or it may come from applause.

The only way to avoid getting distracted by drama is to focus on the fact that the work is for the people who we seek to serve and not for us.

We are merely a conduit for the change we seek to make.

Instead of "just do it", "merely do it". - Seth Godin, The Practice
