Managing the day.
When we leave the task of managing and prioritising the day to the last minute mind, it creates havoc.
It leaves the important things pending and indulges in the time-sinking activities which bring our energy down.
It's the equivalent of leaving the home for a toddler to manage. You can expect a mess when you get back home.
What helps is to mindfully figure out what needs to be done, assign each task more time than you think it would take, organise them in an ordered list and then follow the list without letting the last-minute mind interfere.
It's easier said than done but by going through this exercise, we can build the skill of managing our day better.
