Making space for yourself.
We get pulled in all directions, all the time.
Parents, relatives, friends, teachers… and now Instagram, WhatsApp, Netflix and whatnot.
There is never enough time, energy and attention if we think that we will save some after engaging with others.
What we need to do is to make time for ourselves before we engage with anyone else.
To do the work that matters to us more than anyone else, to ship it before we open the doors for the world to come in.
Staying offline for an hour and working on your art is a wonderful way to start making space for ‘yourself’.
