Leaders initiate.

Yes, it's tempting to wait for someone else to send you an email. That's why we keep checking our inboxes all the time. But, I believe, we can achieve a lot more if we become comfortable with sending emails instead.

Sending emails is a lot different from replying to one. Sending emails means we are initiating, we are reaching out, and we are raising our hand up. The more emails we send, the more possibility we create.

Collaboration is a way of leadership and initiating conversations is how collaborations happen.

Your emails don't need to be perfect. When you send enough of them, you will become more effective at writing them. But the skill to press send consistently is another game altogether.

There is a chasm between writing a draft and sending the email across.

Don't get stuck in the chasm.
