The dance of creating opportunities and delivering on them.

If we focus only on delivering on what's on our plate right now, soon we will run out of work to do.

On the other hand, if we focus only on growth and generating new opportunities but do not deliver on our existing commitments, we will end up with a bad reputation and people will stop giving us more work.

As professionals, we need to balance growth actions and delivering the work. We need to make space for both in our workday, irrespective of how busy we are.

This ensures that we build a virtuous cycle which keeps bringing more work for the future as we keep on delivering on what we have right now.

If we wait for the current project to finish before we start making an effort to get the next one, we would live a life on the edge, full of anxiety and stress.
