Finite & specific.

Making a project finite and specific makes it doable.

And that's the hard part. The hard part is taking the project from an ambiguous state and making it finite and specific.

It's hard because it requires us to make choices.

We will have to choose the constraints. We will have to choose a ship date and a budget. We will have to choose who it's for and what it's for. We will have to choose to let go of things that we want to do but can't do given the constraints.

All these choices require emotional labour. They also indicate to us and the world that we are working on this project as a professional and not an amateur.
