Fighting back.

Procrastination, self-doubt, rationalisation, fear, paralysis are all the different faces of Resistance, we know that very well.

We also know that we can fight back against them by being a pro, by putting our butt in the chair, removing the clutter and focussing on a single task.

But many times, we find ourselves in a place, where we can’t muster up the courage to fight back. We are down on the floor and Resistance just keeps kicking us in the gut.

The following image of a horse been tied to a plastic chair comes to my mind. Sometimes, the mental block becomes so powerful that physical reality has nothing to do with it.

Even though the thing is all in your head, it is not easy to fight back.

PS. Right now, all I can do is empathise with the horse. I don’t have a hack or solution right now. I just want to acknowledge that sometimes it is not as easy or as obvious as we think it is.
