Emotional or Strategic?
The one big challenge with solopreneurship is that it is a "person-business," and it is difficult for us to separate the person from the business. With this, emotions often interfere with our business decisions, leading at times to stalling growth or even worse consequences.
Emotions can make us rationalise bad decisions and delay actions that need to be taken. The emotional pushback tries to make exceptions for things that no longer serve us.
The choice is clear: Do you want to be emotional about your business or strategic? And if you decide to be strategic, you'll need to learn how to keep emotions out of the decision-making room.
