Learn from success, not failures.

"Learn from failure" is one of the most unhelpful advice we have received. When we try to learn from failure, we learn "what not to do". That doesn't give us any idea about "what to do".

And so, the pattern repeats.

It's important to break this pattern by learning from success, not failure. See what's working and learn what to do from there.

The best thing to do with failures is to ignore them and focus on what works instead.
