Continuous or Discrete?

A 90-minute focus session makes time discrete.

A 3-month project makes work discrete.

A 2-week vacation makes life discrete.

We all have access to continuous resources, time being one of them. Our job as creatives is to create something tangible, something discrete.

You can say that I have 10 years experience in the industry or you can talk about the 5 significant projects that you have worked on.

We are shifting swiftly towards an economy where the former doesn't matter much. It's the latter that we care about.

Learning to make things discrete and specific is a skill. Each discrete project can help us move forward and level up.
