Dead end traps.

When you hit a dead end on the road, you have no choice but to turn around and find another way.

Dead end jobs and relationships are different. They are like infinite loops. You keep going and nothing changes. Things neither get much better, nor much worse.

These are scary because you can spend a lot of time and resources trying to make them work. But they never do.

The only way forward is to recognise that you are in this loop and find a way to get off it.

The sooner you do it, the better.

Another round around the loop makes it more likely that you will keep going.
