Changing the story.
We tell stories about ourselves. And we keep repeating those stories.
"I am not a runner."
"I am not good with money."
"I always do this."
If your story is that you are not a runner, you will never go for a run. And you get to keep that story forever. But if you start going for a run 3 days a week, your story will change. You can no longer say that you are not a runner.
If we don't change the story we tell about ourselves, we will keep repeating what we have always done.
Which stories would you like to keep?
Which stories would you like to change?
Even believing that we have the choice and skill to change the story is a story we are telling ourselves.
