Buy the ticket first.
Many times, we are disappointed with what the universe has offered us. We feel we deserve better. We feel that we have not been lucky. But have we taken action that can lead to what we want?
If we are looking for a job, how many potential founders/team leaders did we get in touch with this week? If we are looking for a romantic partner, how many new people did we talk to?
In today's time, we feel that we have done our job by publishing our CVs on the job portals or by swiping right on dating apps, but until we show up in the real world and start talking to real people, we are not doing enough.
Before we complain that we didn't win, wouldn't it make sense to buy the lottery ticket first?
PS. I am planning to publish a book comprising the 650 blogs I have written so far. Do let me know by replying if you'd be interested in it.
