Are you busy or productive?
It's very rare, almost impossible, that you can be both. Most of the world chooses to be busy in the disguise of being productive.
How can you be more productive? The following questions might help: What is the one goal, one project that you are working on? What action steps can lead to forward motion? What is distracting you from staying the course?
Once you identify your priority and focus solely on getting it done, you can get a lot more done compared to when you keep switching context and projects based on urgencies. Multi-tasking makes us feel busy and important, but it is hardly productive.
Focussing on one thing at a time is one of the most difficult skills to acquire and building this one skill can help you become an effective executive both in your life and work.
