Be a force of nature.

When we move forward to make things better, we will create tension and we will ruffle some feathers. Sooner or later, there would be pushback from people who are uncomfortable with the change we are creating.

This pushback can stop us in our tracks, empowering the voice of the critic inside us. We might end up slowing down, changing tracks, or sometimes simply giving up.

Instead, we can choose to ignore the naysayers and focus only on those who we are seeking to serve. This will allow us to keep doing our work with generosity and intent.

Creativity needs a strong force to counter resistance, both within and that of others around us. The river makes its way through the mountains in order to create the fertile lands in the plains.
