We talk a lot about resistance and rightly so. Most of us keep experiencing that force.
But there is another force at play, the one which is on our side.
The one which never falters.
It works if you do the work.

Neil Gaiman famously said in his commencement speech ‘Make Good Art’.A similar message is given by Pressfield in ‘War of Art’, keep working.

When we work in the face of adversity (or even in the absence of it), the other side, the assistance shows up. It creates magic. It provides all that you need to sustain the work. It is much more powerful than you and me, and I have never seen it fail, ever.

The trick to winning the lottery is that you have to buy the ticket. The ticket is your work. As long as you keep doing the work, as long as you do not give into the shallowness that Resistance offers, the other side keeps creating its magic.
