Adjusting the environment...
Too often, we ask the individual to adjust to fit into the given environment. We ask her to be flexible, to work harder, and to change. And the onus is on her to adapt.
But what's more productive is to adjust the environment to suit the individual or more likely let the individual choose the environment in which she thrives.
The desert cactus doesn't thrive in the rainforest, nor do the tropical plants thrive in the desert. We understand this for plants but forget it when it comes to humans.
