Getting to a calm mind.

No child has ever stopped crying when someone shouts "Stop Crying" to them. Similarly, our mind never calms down when we order it to calm down.

Similar to a child, we have to let the mind be, we have to ask it what's wrong, we have to write it down, listen to it with intent, understand why it's agitated, and then let it know what we are going to do to make things better.

The more we start listening to the mind with intent, the less havoc it will create by being agitated.
